Carl Borkholder, Founder and Co-Owner, started with a design that had an adjustable tri-ball/pintle combination hitch which allowed a truck to tow multiple trailers, that is when the MEGA-DUTY was born. A few years later the TORSION-FLEX products were developed and added to GEN-Y’s product offering. The growth and demand of GEN-Y’s hitches has only led to more towing/hauling solutions offered by the company.
